It can even pick up twigs with it. But it can't grow a new one like many lizards. A chameleon's bulgy eyes can swivel around in a complete circle and can look at two different things at the same time. A chameleon doesn't change its color to match its background, but to let other chameleons know how it feels, or when the temperature or amount of light changes."
